Graphic artist Josh Hyde was born and raised in the “Land of Enchantment”—Albuquerque, New Mexico—where he lives today with his wife and three children.
With a decade of commercial graphic experience ranging from athletic gear to aeronautics to merchandise for musicians and authors, Josh brings relevance, impact, and street cred to his visual work.
Josh has produced original designs, logos, graphics, and merchandise for businesses ranging from Harley Davidson and Damage Control Athletix to church pastors and PEN Award-winning occult historian Mitch Horowitz.
His designs always surpass the expected and highlight both the mass appeal and individuality of his clients. A product of goth subculture, Josh retains close ties to off-the-grid movements, which fuels the originality of his design. He has promoted and sold out events for horror, goth, punk, and alternative audiences bringing community to the things that make us rebels.
The push to bring the underground aboveground comes from Josh’s personal and spiritual journey and his passion for self-development. Above all, Josh’s calling is to inspire, unite, and empower through design—both for client and audience.
Josh’s work tells us that we are capable of more than we’ve been taught to realize. He believes that the greatest barrier to personal development—including the art and design that express us—is dogma and the desire for respectability, and that we should find ourselves on our own terms and live from that light.
“In three decades of working with different graphic artists and designers as both an author and publishing executive,” says Mitch Horowitz, “I have never met an artist who is as sensitive to the needs of a client but also surpasses them—and reveals a huge audience among people who are yearning to be as individualistic as Josh’s work.”

Punk vocalist and songwriter Josh Hyde was born and raised in “the Land of Enchantment”—Albuquerque, New Mexico—where he lives today with his wife and three children. He is the lead vocalist of Only Fables (a hardcore punk band formed during quarantine), and his solo project, Josh Hyde, illustrates his range from hardcore to alternative, and indie rock. The first 6 track EP produced by Brett Bronner was released in April 2021.
Josh combines elements of doom, hardcore punk, and black metal, creating a unique atmosphere for a vocally aggressive and melodic sound, with musical influences like Emma Ruth Rundle, Chelsea Wolfe, and This Will Destroy You, to vocal influences like He Is Legend’s Schylar Croom, The Contortionist’s Michael Lessard, and Bring Me The Horizon’s Oliver Sykes.
Mitch Horowitz (PEN Award-winning occult historian) calls it “PMA with maximum impact.”
As a child, he remembers driving to school with his mother and singing Dean Martin and Neil Diamond songs at the top of their lungs. Throughout his teenage years, he was influenced by bands like AFI, Norma Jean, The Chariot, He Is Legend, and Blindside. He picked up his father’s acoustic guitar around the age of 13 and began trying to write his own songs.
Josh’s first single, Martyr is the promotional single to his solo EP, produced by Brett Bronner, released in late in April 2021. For more news and updates, follow Josh Hyde on Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, & TikTok: @joshhyde666).
